From the M5:

Exit the M5 at junction 27 and follow the A361, Niorth Devon Link Road towards Barnstaple.

At Barnstaple take the A39 towards Bideford (for 8 miles).

From Bideford quay take the A386 towards Torrington, keeping the river to your left. After approximately one mile, past the second lay by, Riverside Cottage will be found on the left hand side. You can park in front of the garage.

For those of you using Sat-Nav, our post code is EX39 5HB. Your device will inform you that you have reached your destination at Higher Marsh next to a lay by where the kayaks are launched from, you will need to continue on for another quarter of a mile to reach Riverside Cottage.

By Train

The nearest train station is at Barnstaple which is approximately 10 miles from Riverside Cottage.  

We can provide a lift from Barnstaple station by prior arrangement.
