Deposits and Payments:

All accommodation prices are per room per night based upon two guests sharing and include full English breakfast.

Single occupancy room rates are 75% of full room rate and are available on the Courtyard and Garden Room only.

Bed & Breakfast - Reservations made online either through our website or through a listing site will be confirmed at the time of booking and by email, payment is also due in full.

Reservations made directly with Riverside Cottage over the phone or by –mail are confirmed verbally until a deposit or full payment is received.

The deposit is equivalent to the cost of one night’s accommodation. If a deposit is made the balance is due on arrival.

At present, we do not have credit or debit card facilities on site.

Cancellations

If You have paid a Booking Deposit (always equivalent to the cost of one night’s accommodation or service) or the full amount of Your Booking:
If You cancel Your Booking within 48 hours of the scheduled check-in time on the date of arrival as printed on your booking confirmation a charge equivalent to the cost of one night’s accommodation (or service) will be levied.
If You need to cancel Your Booking more than 48 hours before the scheduled check-in time a full-refund will be given unless otherwise stated.

Arrival and Departure:

Rooms are available from 3pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 11.00am on the day of departure. If guests require arrangements outside of the published times, please contact us directly.

We regret that Riverside Cottage is not suitable for children less than 16 years old, this is due to the property’s close proximity of the river. This may be a policy we reconsider for change in the future.

Due to the steep drive from the road to the property and the steps to the porch, it is regrettable that this property is also not suitable for people with wheelchairs or any other mobility impairments.

We cannot accommodate pets at this time. We aim to provide this as a future development.

Riverside Cottage like all business premises has a no smoking policy. Smokers are welcomed but are requested to respect the No smoking laws and the owners’ wishes. Smoking is only permitted outside where wall mounted ashtrays are provided for your convenience or available on request.

The property allows for 3 car spaces directly off the main road in front of the double garage. Drivers/guests are requested to park considerately leaving sufficient space for your fellow guests.
